How do I personalise the privacy policy?

In the settings, customise the privacy policy to your company's specifications.

Flexopus processes personal data on behalf of companies. A privacy policy is required so that users can view the framework for processing their data. The data controller is always the company and must therefore ensure that a valid privacy policy is in place. Flexopus is only a data processor on behalf of the company. Flexopus offers a current template for a data protection declaration as a service for the companies - but this must always be checked and supplemented by the company.

Note: Flexopus may not provide legal advice. Responsible for the content, the accuracy of the information and the timeliness of the privacy policy, is always the data controller.

In the Flexopus privacy policy template, two sections must always be adjusted:

  • Data transfer to third country: when using the Flexopus Cloud solution, for example: "No data transfer takes place."
  • Explanation of the legal basis: here, the intended use of Flexopus in the company must be briefly explained.
Ex: "Software for flexible booking of workplaces, meeting rooms and parking spaces". If you use Flexopus for other purposes, such as Corona infection chain tracking, this must also be noted.

In addition, you can activate the option "Confirm privacy policy". If this option is active, users must actively agree to the privacy policy when they log in for the first time. The consent is documented and stored with date.

If you want to use your own privacy policy instead of the prefabricated one, you can upload it yourself under the option "Use your own privacy policy".

Users will always find the privacy policy under
