In the global settings (Booking Settings →Email Settings → Booking notifcation email), it can be activated that booking confirmations are automatically sent to users. The email also contains the booking in iCalendar format (.ics).
Attention: No booking confirmations will be sent for serial bookings.
Each user can also individually deactivate the e-mail notification in the personal profile.
Interpretation in calendars (.ics)
Modern calendars like Outlook automatically import the appointment into the calendar. Flexopus is so intelligent and interprets "cancellations" of events. If the user cancels the appointment in Outlook, for example, then Outlook sends a cancellation, which Flexopus interprets: The booking is then deleted in Flexopus.
Attention: It is important that the calendar program sends an appointment cancellation according to the official standard and that the email address matches the email address stored in Flexopus.
Lotus Notes
Flexopus sends the calendar entries as "unblocked appointment" according to the official standard.
According to our current knowledge, "Lotus Notes" unfortunately interprets this information incorrectly. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this. If the "Lotus error" is too annoying for colleagues, then everyone can also deactivate the appointment confirmation in the personal profile.
