In this article we introduce you to the new digital displays for Flexopus
The fee-based module enables you to project Flexopus onto a digital display (e.g. a flat screen). This allows you to get an overview of current capacities and utilisation as soon as you step into the office.
Presence display
With our digital attendance or presence display, we enable users to quickly find out who is on site today and which seats are occupied. In addition, we show for how long each person has been booked.
Meeting Room Board
The Meeting Room Signage Display provides a quick overview of the current occupancy of your bookable tables, meeting rooms and parking spaces. You can freely configure which objects you want to display.
Supported devices
Our solution is platform-independent, as it is implemented as a web application. Therefore, the application can be used on any browser-compatible device. The two functions of the display are particularly suitable for large flat screens, e.g. in the entrance area.
Note: The device must have an internet connection at all times.
Google Chomecast
We recommend using the following Google Chromecast devices to display the large info screen:
- Google Chromecast with Google TV (4K)
- Google Chromecast with Google TV (HD)
The Google Chromecast can be connected to any TV with an HDMI input, allowing Flexopus to be set up on existing devices. It offers a user-friendly interface and reliable performance to ensure Flexopus runs smoothly.
Samsung Smart-TVs
Some Samsung Smart TVs have the function of automatic switch-on and switch-off as well as the option of restoring the last opened app when switching on. These include the following Smart TVs:

These smart TVs can be controlled via the "SmartThings" app.

Wi-Fi connection: Make sure that your Smart TV is connected to the Wi-Fi.

Samsung account: You need a mobile device (Android / iOS) on which you can install the SmartThings app and a Samsung account with which you can log in to the app.

Add device: Add your smart TV to the SmartThings app. You can find instructions below: SmartThings Getting Started.

Create a routine: Create routines in the app to automate certain actions. For example, you can use routines to switch the Smart TV on or off at a specific time.
Finally, you need to set the TV to open the last app opened when it is switched on (Settings > General and privacy > Home screen option > Run last app automatically).
